The House

As we all know, every bachelor needs a manly decorated bear head…enter Dirty Money. We don’t know how he came to be named “Dirty Money” nor do we understand how he became the house mascot. He’s the first thing you see as you enter the house- and we like it that way :-)

Dirty Money
As for the house, I (Jason) was given this house by my father David Robison. It was a huge blessing.  I lived in the house for about a year by myself. Then I read a few books that completely disarranged me: Crazy Love by Francis Chan, Under the Overpass: A Journey Of Faith On The Streets Of America by Mike Yankoski, and The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. Don’t read these books back to back  unless you’re looking to wreck your life. These books totally messed me up in the best ways. So I decided to open my home to friends and people that needed a place to stay. No one is charged rent and we share everything- including one bathroom.

The house has developed into a place for us to explore biblical community in different ways. It is at our home where we find comfort and confrontation, peace and relaxation, and absolute craziness. We hope the house will teach us about living in close quarters with other pastors, ministers, and those who are in need. At our house we believe we are all ministers according to Ephesians 4:11-12. Some of us have titles. Some of us don’t. What’s really in a title anyway? All of us have hearts that believe in discipleship, leadership, and being servants of Jesus.

I hope you enjoy the house and all the updates from the guys. Consider yourself warned as to the content that may be placed on this website. We are pastors gone wild. And when you have a 5 guys in a 930 square foot house, there is bound to be something crazy and wild going on. And it might just find its way on the site.  Blessings.

Do you have anything to say?
